Cynthia and Ben had originally reached out to me for a holiday session and their two fur babies: Cooper and London. I was ecstatic to hear that they not only wanted a photo session but that their location of choosing was GORGEOUS: The Getaway at Mt. Adams. Another reason why I love Washington: there will always be a plethora of places to go hike, see, and adventure at! One of the unique things about C&B is that their love for adventure really takes them everywhere, they are living my travel dream <3
Shortly after we set up a call to chat about our ideas and thoughts, we all agreed that this space had more potential than just a holiday session and in the end, I wanted to give them a special treat and combined their session and gave them the adventure couples experience. I mean, how could you not? A cute cabin 4 hours away from Seattle, giving my couples the most of their trip was something I felt was necessary.
One of the unique things about this place is that is has little reception and a cell phone "lock away box," with how attached we are to technology this was a the perfect time to really have a chance to focus in the moment and be with each other. After reading Cynthia's blog on her overall trip, I think they really embraced the whole experience.
